This unique training program has been specially designed for those investigators desirous of upgrading their skills and confidence in this specialized profession. Apart from re-affirming the broad principles of investigations,"Investigator Upgrade” looks at the rules of evidence, evidence collection, investigation planning and avenues of enquiry.
A special focus is on interviewing skills – probably the most important skill required by all investigators, in eliciting information from witnesses and suspects. It also concentrates on how to prepare, plan and organise an interview of a suspect or person of interest. Using the now worldwide recognised cognitive interviewing model - P.E.A.C.E. - students will come away with enhanced skills that lead to better outcomes.
1 course of 1 week duration has been locked in commencing on the 26th 30th of March 2012, to be conducted at the Airlie Police College in Domain Rd, South Yarra.
Other programs will be conducted later in 2012 to accommodate demand. Total Cost of the program for each investigator is $2400 and numbers are strictly limited to enable positive student/instructor ratios, particularly in the practical aspects of interviewing.
Stand alone interviewing packages are run on demand, even at your workplace.
